These are a more artistic range of scrapyard shots I’ve taken over the years. When I started spending time in breakers yard I was preoccupied with documenting the subject matter, however as I took the shots I began to appreciate the physical elements of the photos – light, composition, tone and colour. Capturing the cars last moments, traces of the last owners and the sad story of how something once loved and cherished has become another wasted product. There’s beauty in everything, and I can always find it in a scrapyard!
