Talented equine sculptor Georgie Welchs and partner Stuart Delaney, a famed Industrial sculptor have been using this utterly charming Renault 4 van as an occasional car. The car has become part of the family, which made selling it a tough decision.
Imported from the South of France where it served as a utility van, it was comprehensively restored and has been used on UK roads for 20 years. Renault produced several versions of the R4 panel van, the boxy F6 and the cleaner F4. Powered by an 845cc engine, progress is likely to be leisurely but who cares when you drive something as utterly spellbinding as this? It reached a respectable £8000 at auction.
