Classic Car & Restoration show

The first of two big Classic car shows bookended at the beginning and end of the year, the NEC plays host to both events, where they draw in 1,300 cars each. The Restoration event is a well timed show, created to inspire the classic car owner to dust off, restore, buy or simply enjoy the world of classic motoring.

Held over three days, the event offers over 170 car clubs, 350+ exhibitors, the largest indoor Autojumble of the season, and a Classic Car Auction. All three days have live stages featuring well known hosts in the restoration game, providing advice and tips to their audience. In addition awards are held for restorer of the year, bar finds and pride of ownership, which all connect back to the owners. The NEC has benefitted to improved lighting, which enhances the 3 hall event.

Bread and butter family cars have become the norm at the NEC.

French rear engined cars representing the many car clubs in attendance.

From the usual classics to the previously unknown, the event helps to educate and inform.

Restoration can’t be rose tinted, and there is no guarentee that you’ll make your money back but thats not usually the motivation to restore a car.

Examples of finished cars help encorage the dream. A show that displays the passion and ability of the owners.

Plenty of examples of work in progress, with many clubs actually restoring their vehicles at the show.
