A last-minute decision to pop over to the Radwood event at Bicester Heritage proved to be a perfect excuse to catch up to take loads of car pictures and enjoy a day out amongst the beautiful people at the event. This year we were graced with the Hot Wheels Legends tour, which deserves a post of its own, in which ten cars have been chosen by a committee and one picked for consideration to be made into a 1/64 scale model; a huge draw and a fantastic way for Mattel and Hot Wheels to engage with the public.
The car picked to go into the next round was Michael Wallhead’s MGB. Packed full of details, he enters the semi-finals in November to fight it out with other contenders. Also on a winning thread, Katie Bushell won the prize as the best car (Raddest car) at Radwood. On the back of several accolades and recognition of her car, she does it for fun rather than social media recognition, which must have influenced the judge’s decision.
