There are always fascinating cars and people at the brilliant Retro Rides Gathering. It has become a spiritual home for me and it’s always a joy to catch up with David and his loyal team.
The cars often take second billing as the weekend is more of a social thing but I was determined to put my head down and get on with the photography. The Retro Rides Gathering was at Mallory Park, where the race track was a second attraction. Aside from the numerous club stands, we were graced by Johnny Smith’s rather wonderful Late Brake Show. Curated by his team, they worked tirelessly throughout the day.
